The net borrowing of general government should be, fortunately, decreasing, compared to gross domestic product. In 2007, the deficit / GDP falls to 1 of the PA, 9%, compared to 3.4% in 2006. The deficit / GDP registered cosà ¬ appears to be the most since 2000 and lower than the prior estimate of the government which was at 2.4. In short, speaking in absolute terms the net debt is reduced by more than 20,400 million euros, reaching the level of 29,179 million. Negative data on GDP, which is grown in 2007, 1, 5%, "considerably below expectations," says the Istat. Compared to 2006, the Court finds that, for a change in methodology, it was not counted in that year, the extraordinary burden of the State for reimbursement of the deductibility of VAT on company cars following a ruling by the European Court of Justice. A significant part of that burden is instead recorded in 2007, amounting to 847 million euros. Good for the better!
