Excellent closing European stock markets, as mentioned, in spite of developments in the fall of Wall Street. Cars, banks and insurance companies have argued the price lists of the Old Continent. Indeed on the final rush Mibtel gained a 35% and the S & P / Mib 1, 48%. In particular there were exceptions: the Banco Popular have soared, thanks also to the positive assessment of UBS. Also popular were also the Fiat (+4.55% at 14.56 euros), along with houses European competitors. Among the actions the children have sunk Piaggio denied rumors of a placement.

Speaking globally, the squares continental auto, banking and insurance continued their rebound. Specifically we see that the CAC40 gains 1%, the Dax 1, 5%, the FTSE100 1, 47%. The indices of the Old Continent have strengthened the gains on the final session in the wake of the positive shift in Wall Street, after the big buy-back announced by the giant IBM, which could push up profits in 2008. At sectoral level continue their recovery car titles. Paris +5.3% Michelin, Peugeot +3.1%, +2.8% in Frankfurt BMW, DaimlerChrysler +2.8%. Financial stocks were driven by the UK Alliance & Leicester (+8.1%), the sound of a shared interest in Lloyds. Also in London on shields Standard Chartered (+7.8%) after announcing profits up 27%, above expectations. In Frankfurt on Lufthansa significant purchases (+5.9%), which announced record profits in 2007 and a jump in the dividend to 1.25 euros per share.
