
It seems to be growing by 0.7% on an annual basis the industrial production in March. The Confederation Centre of Studies conducted a swift investigation to detect this value. The annual change in the March first of the 'obvious adjustment for working days, two less than in 2008 because of the holidays' Easter, and' a decrease of 4.1% versus 1.5% in February. CSC monthly survey shows an increase of 2.5% in March after a decline of '1, 2% in February, revised down from -0.8% of the provisional estimate.
So if that comes from the flow of new orders received by industrial firms, working on a contract in March recorded a growth of 2.4% in February (seasonally adjusted), when there 'was a contraction of 4.9% on January. In trend terms orders rose 0.3% in March from 0.1% in February. In the first quarter of 2008, industrial production grows of '1, 1% on the previous quarter, recovering part of the decline of 2% in 2007 quarter. Falls 0.8%, however, on the corresponding quarter of 2007.
