Sales of new cars in Europe rose by 2.8% annually in July, to 1.29 million units, and 3% in August to 829,083 units. This was announced by Acea. And 'the third increase since last June after a series of declines that started in May 2008. The cars sold by the group Fiat rose by 10.9% to 116,964 units in July and by 9% to 61,067 units in August, with the consolidation of the market share of 9% and 7.4%.
